About County Antrim

County Antrim is one of the six counties of Northern Ireland,  Belfast is its chief city and it is home to the famous Giant's Causeway which forms part of its stunning coastline   Antrim's stunning coastline is the county's most scenic asset, particularly the coastal valleys of the Glens of Antrim. Along the northern coast is the Giant's Causeway a collection of hexagonal shaped rock formations created some six million years ago by basaltic lava flows - or  (what I chose to believe) by a mythical giant named Finn MacCool.  Also in Antrim is the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery
