Meehambee Dolmen The Meehambee Dolmen is a Megalithic Portal Tomb which dates from about 3500 BC!!! It is located in County Roscommon, Ireland. The Dolment is located just off of the M6 and access is free, so you can go and admire it, wee bit of barbed wire has been added to prevent any damage, but you can get a great view as well as get up close and touch. In the 1960’s two schoolchildren were playing and unearthed two stone axes, this lead to the area being excavated. The Dolmen is now protected and is a National heritage site.
