The Battle of the Somme - The 36th (Ulster) Division was an infantry division of the British Army, part of Lord Kitchener's New Army, formed in September 1914. The market has long been a major part in the social history and traditions of Belfast. During World
Welcome to Roots Northern Ireland!!!
Many people want to know about their family's history, but don't have a clue where to start, or haven't got the time to research it on their own. When I was younger, I was fascinated by how my crazy, diverse family came together, who we were, where we came from and how we got where we are now. I began to dig deeper into my family history and found that not only was it fascinating, I realized how passionate I became about doing the research and the 'detective' work that comes with being a family historian. I love the 'hunt'.
